Influenced by illustrators from the 70s and Ralph McQuarrie's work that I admire so much, I like the painted look in the matte paintings from that era, something about the human brushstrokes...Anyway I wanted to orient my work towards this direction, it didn't take me as long as I thought it would and I had a blast, I hope it comes through.
