=- Spring Rain -=

Digital painting.

I did this with a certain spring mood in head, when there has been rain right before but you can feel the sun behind the clouds starting to come out. Of course this influenced by the works of Jean-Claude Mezieres whose work I adore (and who’s name I’ve placed somewhere!), but bringing more of a painterly/sketchy feeling to. Experimenting as always with texture, abstraction, lines, masses, edges... It could be taken to a higher polish I guess but I much prefer the rougher stage, there is more life to it.
